GRENADA CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT
One of the newest programs available, introduced in 2013, at low cost, providing second citizenship to Grenada and passport with possibilities to travel to 153 countries, including the UK, EU Schengen countries and China; as well as the access to the USA E2 treaty investor visa for its citizens. Only Caribbean country with no restrictions, however all applicants must undergo strict due diligence checks.

Applicant can either invest, and maintain, in government approved real estate projects, for period of 5 years (220,000) or invest as a donation (150,000).

No requirement to interview for the citizenship or reside in the country to complete the application. However, applicants must be of good character, good health, no criminal record and high net worth. Additional fees and taxes to be paid.
Program open to all nationalities except for Iranian applicants. Children are considered dependants until 30 years old, and parents over the age of 55. Application takes about 4 months; Government, Professional and DD fees apply and no income tax.
E-2 treaty allows for citizens of Grenada to operate a business and reside in the US. China and India do not have a treaty with the US. In special circumstances, investor are able to obtain citizenship in Grenada first, before applying for USA visa.
